This piece incorporates a Blenko rondal which we have had in our possession for 35 years. It was fun to be inspired by it's uniquiness and create a window around it. Since we have been creating stained glass for so many years the process feels natural and comfortable. During these times to just go into the studio, put on meditative music and relax into the process of creating glass. It feels like going home. We love it. We use hand blown glass which comes in a combination of luscious and enticing colors collected over many years. We utilize the original Tiffany copper foil glass process which allows for more fluid and detailed designs.
Photographing stained glass is a total challenge and not easy. All of our panels are more translucent and more exciting than the photos portrays. When photographed in the studio some of the luster disappears but we feel it is the best way to show the actual colors and design.
